Biographical Note

Vicky Yannoula is a classical pianist and contemporary vocalist whose career spans an exceptional breadth of artistic and professional pursuits, including music performance, direction, education, arts management and cultural advocacy.
Originally from Corfu, Greece, she has been based in the United Kingdom since 1995, maintaining strong personal and professional ties with her native island. Returning to Corfu several times each year, Vicky Yannoula has, since 2024, taken an active role as a cultural campaigner, championing the development and revitalisation of the island’s cultural infrastructure, encompassing its buildings, creative spaces and artistic programming. As a classical pianist, Vicky Yannoula performs from a varied list of solo, chamber music, vocal and concerto repertoire. In her capacity as a vocalist, she embraces a genre-spanning spectrum of contemporary musical styles, performing an extensive repertoire that spans art songs, musical theatre, cabaret, folk, jazz, pop, rock and soul. Her versatility as both classical pianist and contemporary singer reflects a profound artistic curiosity and a deep commitment to bridging diverse musical traditions through performance.
She began receiving piano tuition at the age of eight in Corfu (Greece) where she was born. She continued her piano studies at the National Conservatory of Athens and obtained her Piano Recital Diploma with Distinction and a Special Prize for Exceptional Performance. She holds a Bachelor in Music (Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from the Royal College of Musi and a Masters in Performance from Goldsmiths College.
Vicky Yannoula has given piano solo/chamber music concerts and piano concertos in a plethora of venues in Europe such as the Royal International Pavilion Llangollen, Queen Elizabeth Hall, William Aston Hall, Kings Place, Thessaloniki Concert Halls, Vafopoulio Cultural Centre, Epidaurus Little Theatre, Athens College Theatre, Literature Society of Corfu, Municipal Theatre of Corfu; she has conducted the Hackney Youth Orchestras Trust orchestras at the Royal Albert Hall, and has collaborated with musicians such as Leonidas Kavakos (violin), Joseph Calleja (tenor), Peter Jablonski (piano) and Maria Farantouri (singer). As a singer, she has performed in venues such as Crazy Coqs, 1901 Arts Club, Moustache Bar, George IV Chiswick and the Embassy of Lebanon.
Vicky Yannoula has released world premiere recordings with Toccata Classics (Shostakovich piano 4-hands, with Jakob Fichert) and with Resonus Classics (Beethoven symphonies arranged for piano 4-hands by Czerny; with George-Emmanuel Lazaridis).
